Autism Awareness Night at the Giants Game

On June 15, it was Autism Awareness Night at the SF Giants. We always try to go to at least one game a year and this seemed like the perfect game to see. With special tickets, we also got t-shirts featuring Will Clark, a former Giant, who is also a parent of a son with autism. It was a beautiful night at the ballpark - AT&T Park is so spectacular with great views of the bay. We were sitting out of the wind. And my whole family was able to go with us. We left the kids home with a sitter because the game started right around bed time. We were also joined by my aunt & cousins who were visiting from Utah - so fun to have them there too! We enjoyed our favorite ballpark treats and a good game - too bad the Giants lost!. It was a fun night!

A great view of the bay and the ferry.

Me, my cousins Lorenza & Dominic, & my parents.

Throughout the game, they would flash some statistics about autism on the big screen. I hope lots of other people saw them and their awareness was increased!

Looks like you've been doing some really fun things! Have any big plans for the summer?
