SF Anniversary

My parents were so gracious to watch our kids for a night so we could celebrate our anniversary - 12 years! We stayed at the Westin St. Francis Hotel, which is right on Union Square in downtown San Francisco. I've always wanted to stay there - I think it's very beautiful inside & you can't beat the location. After we checked in, we got in line to ride a Cable Car - truly a touristy thing in SF - to ride down near Ghirardelli Square for a fancy dinner. We ate at a great place that featured modern Vietnamese cuisine. Everything we had was incredibly delicious! We walked around a little, but it was starting to rain. We picked up some fancy cupcakes from a little shop and took a Cable Car back to our hotel. The next day, we had a yummy breakfast at Lori's Diner & did some shopping. Then we walked around seeing some of the city - Chinatown, and the beautiful decorations at the Hyatt by the Embarcadero. Before too long, it was time to head back to real life! It was great to have some time alone in the city with my sweet husband! Happy Anniversary!

Thanks for the Christmas letter and picture! You haven't aged one bit.

Looks like you had a really fun anniversary. Taking time to get away is always so nice. We don't do it often enough with a bambino around. You've inspired me to be better about that.
