And So It Begins...

Our bathroom remodel, that is. We moved into our current home almost 6 years ago and did a good bit of work on the house at that time - kitchen, windows, paint... The only room we didn't do a thing to, not even paint, is our hallway bathroom, which doubles as the kid/guest bathroom. Well, over the last several months, the shower stopped working, the drain in the tub stopped working, the sink faucet was dripping. Out of necessity we decided to remodel the bathroom this year. We've been planning this for several months - everything for the bathroom has been purchased and it's all sitting in the garage. The only thing not getting replaced is the toilet! Our family of four is sharing 1 bathroom for the next few weeks - and already that is proving tough as it's in our master bedroom. We've got a good contractor though and hopefully the work will go smoothly & quickly. So, this is our before picture and we'll try to post during & after as it comes...
