For the Fourth of July, we took our kids to The Flag show in Concord. This was our first time attending and we loved it! It's a great patriotic program celebrating our great country and the people who make it great. There were a lot of songs - some sung by soloists and others sung by a choir that sat in a big flag. The kids seemed to like all the songs. I also liked how they honored all the veterans who have served our country over the years - including my dad. After the performance, it was time for fireworks. This was the first time our kids had seen fireworks - they always started way past the kids' bedtime. This year we decided to give it a try - especially since the Princess had been talking about it for days. The kids LOVED it - weren't bothered by the noise, and the Buddy even jumped up and down. They sure were tired when we got home, but we had a great time and we'll definitely go to The Flag show again!
