Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween.  The Princess knew for a while she wanted to be a cowgirl and we had fun putting her costume together, pink boots and all!  The Buddy was a pirate again - and I was just happy he was willing to wear his costume for a bit.  It felt like one huge weekend of parties & treats.  Friday, the kids both had parties at school, although Kindergarten takes it to a whole new level - parade, a little song/poem program & the party.  The Buddy's was more low-key, but it was nice.  His class joined with an older autism class and the older class had planned a nice party for everyone.  The next day was our Trunk-or-Treat at church.  The Princess's best friend Lauren joined us, with her family.  The kids all had fun - and came home with plenty of goodies.  With Halloween being on Sunday, we didn't do much Trick-or-Treating.  The Buddy didn't want to go out again, but we did take the Princess to the neighbors right by us.  Then she had fun passing out treats to our "customers" (her phrase!).
