November Activities

We had a busy November, hence the lack of posts!  First up, We spent a beautiful day at the zoo with cousin Cody - now a big 2-year old - and Auntie & Nana.  We saw all of our favorites!  In November, we also started a family membership at Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley.  We had so much fun exploring the museum on a Saturday.  The kids loved playing with these fans & beach balls, the wall of plastic nails where you can imprint your hands, and the exhibit on roller coasters.  We will have fun going back!

For Thanksgiving, Grandma & Grandpa Michaelsen came for a visit.  It had been a year since we had seen them and we had SO much fun.  We rode the ferry to San Francisco & took them to our favorite little aquarium.  The Dad was able to meet up with us for lunch at Bubba Gump.  Another day, we drove to Apple Hill up in Placerville.  While it was a VERY chilly day, we had fun seeing the sights and enjoying some of our favorite apple treats.

And it wouldn't be a visit from Grandma without some baking.  The Princess helped her make delicious orange rolls for Thanksgiving dinner, as well as cinnamon rolls.  YUM!  Grandma also made the Princess some Fancy Nancy pj pants, complete with a ribbon ruffle!  She also received a cute Fancy Nancy book & a shirt to match her pjs.  Grandpa was able to help the Dad get our garage organized.  It was a great visit!
