Christmas Sights in San Francisco
We had a fun adventure in the city just before Christmas. The kids & I rode BART with Hazel & cousin Cody & my grandma. We got off at Powell Stree to see the decorations. We saw the Macy's windows - and the cutest kittens & puppies. The Buddy really liked seeing them. The we went to the Westin St. Francis to see their gingerbread castle. We all hiked up 3-4 super steep blocks to the Fairmont Hotel to see their 2-story gingerbread house. The kids were troopers on our big walk, but I was most impressed by my grandma. She's 84 and had no troubl keeping up with us! The big gingerbread house did not dissapoint! It is incredible! Then we had a yummy lunch and got on BART to come home. It was the Buddy's first time on BART and he did great & really seemed to enjoy it. We'll definitely make this a tradition!
