While Grandma Michaelsen was visiting over the Christmas break, the Dad & I had a chance to get away for a night to celebrate our anniversary. We didn't want to go too far, or spend a lot of money, so we decided to go to Half Moon Bay which is about an hour away. We had never been there before - and it was beautiful! We can't wait to go back and explore more. We ate some yummy food and had fun exploring the town. Before we headed home, we walked along this shoreline trail that was so beautiful. It looked out over the water and went past the Ritz Carlton (NOPE, we didn't stay there!) and a lovely golf course. We think it would be fun to come back with the kids and ride bikes and go to the beach - in warmer weather, of course!
