We Had a Hoppy Easter!

We had a really fun Easter. Our celebrating started the Thursday night before when we had an egg hunt with some of our good friends. The weather was a little rainy, so we moved our egg hunt inside to the church. The kids made short work of finding all the eggs and had fun playing in the gym.

Saturday, we went on a family outing to Tilden Park in Berkeley - one of our favorite spots. We went to the Little Farm where they had brad new baby chicks, baby pigs and all our other favorites. The Buddy could have sat at watched the ducks all day. We rode the carousel and had ice cream and ended the day riding on the steam train.

Later that evening, we dyed our Easter eggs. The kids really had fun coloring on them first before we put them in the dye - and no big spills or messes - AMAZING!

Easter morning, we had to head straight to church, but I was able to snap a picture of the kids all dressed up. Church was wonderful as we were reminded about the Atonement & Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We did Easter baskets when we got home - the Easter Bunny brought flip flops, books, jammies, and a little candy.

Later, we went to my mom's house for a yummy Easter dinner with my whole family. My mom outdid herself with BBQ ribs and homemade mac & cheese. The kids had another egg hunt. Poor Buddy was still so interested in opening each egg as he found it and eating what was inside before looking for another egg, and the Princess was all about getting all the eggs she could. We had a great time and it was a great celebration with our family - even Baby Cody!

Looks like a great Easter. Sydney looks like she really enjoyed her ice cream and jelly beans. The kids are such cuties!
