Okay, so her birthday was a couple of weeks ago...but she is 4 nonetheless. She was SO excited to turn 4. She talked about her birthday for months leading up to it. At first I could tell her she would be 4 after Easter, after school got out, and then we made a chain to count the days. When she woke up, said, "Mommy, I'm 4!" The next day she woke up and said "Am I still 4?!?"These are some of my favorite things about the Princess at age 4:
-how she looks when she's telling a story - she kind of winks an eye and uses lots of hand gestures.
-how her nose crinkles when she smiles.
-her laugh when she's being tickled.
-how much she loves gymnastics (or "'nastics" as she says it)
-how much she loves her friends
-she likes to help me bake - we both wear our aprons and she helps pour & mix
-she loves to be read to. It's been fun to read her some of my favorites and discover new favorites together.
-her favorite song right now is "Families Can Be Together Forever"
As challenging as she can be at times, she is also a lot of fun and we are so grateful she was sent to our family!
These pictures were taken about a week after her birthday when she opened her gift from Grandma Chris. She had made the Princess a beautiful dress-up dress. It is amazing! She also sent the Princess gloves, a little purse and a matching headband. The Princess will have so much fun with this! Thanks Grandma Chris!
